GE ENERGY
Steve Moffitt is an Account Executive for GE Energy,  leading global supplier of power generation equipment & services with energy solutions that cover nuclear, thermal and renewable fuel sources.

Steve manages all GE commercial business with Invenergy LLC from their headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Invenergy is a key global account for GE Energy and Steve is engaged in their diverse equipment and services businesses including Wind, Solar and Natural Gas
Fired Power Generating Facilities. As the nation’s largest independent wind power generating company, Invenergy has placed over 2,000 megawatts of GE Wind Turbine Generators in service. Prior to this role, Steve was a Sales Director for GE Power Generation covering new generating unit sales to all GE customers in Illinois and Wisconsin. He also spent several years in GE Nuclear Energy covering specific utility customers in the United  States and Mexico.

Steve started his power industry career in the U.S. Navy and was on the initial commissioning crew of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Before joining GE, he held supervisory and management positions in the electric utility industry, primarily in the areas of power plant operations and engineering projects.

Steve serves on the Energy Council of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and has been active in the IEEE and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
